To become a member of Digital Corals and unlock the full potential of our platform, you’ll need to have a digital wallet. A digital wallet is essential for registering and managing your Digital Coral assets, participating in transactions, and engaging with various features offered on our platform.
What is a digital wallet?
A digital wallet is a software application or hardware device designed to securely store, send, and receive digital assets, including cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other forms of digital money. Beyond traditional currencies, it also facilitates the storage and transfer of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), which are unique digital assets representing ownership of digital art, collectibles, and more. Think of it as your personal bank account in the digital realm, providing you with full control over your funds and NFTs. Additionally, each digital wallet comes with a unique address that is exclusively yours, serving as a digital identifier for sending and receiving assets. We’ve chosen Xaman because they offer the capability to securely hold and transfer assets on the XRP ledger.
How to get a digital wallet
Getting a digital wallet is easy with Digital Corals! Simply download the Xaman app onto your smartphone from your device’s app store. Once you have downloaded your wallet, follow the setup instructions in the app or for a more detailed guide click here.
Once you have downloaded your Xaman wallet and created your account, you will need to activate your wallet in order to receive your digital coral NFTs/assets. Please note this will require you to purchase and send at least 10 XRP to your Xaman wallet address, plus an additional 3 XRP that will cover transaction fees for the receipt and movement of your digital corals assets. We understand that many may be unfamiliar with blockchain transactions or purchasing digital currencies, therefore we offer an activation service that will take care of this step for you if you find it daunting or to simply save you the hassle.
